Chamber Collective

Have you heard about the Chamber Collective?

Connect, collaborate, and create change

Penrith Valley Chamber has been helping business owners build quality relationships since 1927.

You heard right, nearly 100 years.

Imagine a community where forward-thinking local businesses (large and small) come together. An inclusive environment, where everyone’s encouraged and supported throughout their business journey to learn, grow, and prosper. Where business owners and leaders in our community work together to make meaningful changes– economically, environmentally, and socially.

This community exists – it’s called Penrith Valley Chamber. But it’s missing one key component. You.

Events

There’s an inspiring and diverse business collective in Penrith, and we want you to be a part of it. Think human-to-human connection, genuine business relationships that lead to collaboration and, of course, canapes.

Education

We know that one of the hardest aspects of any business is upskilling and learning–however, we also know that professional development is paramount to business success. Which is why we provide regular training in all aspects of business.

Advocacy

We’re the voice of the local Penrith business community. Our long-standing relationships with council and local government means you have a say in projects and policies that affect our fast-growing, dynamic city. Your voice matters, let us help you use it.

Membership

There are many advantages to becoming a member of Penrith Valley Chamber–one being the opportunity to surround yourself with like-minded leaders in different stages of business and key stakeholders in the community.

In others’ words

We attract the best businesses to our community. Ones that truly immerse themselves into our thriving network and aim to see our beautiful city prosper into a sustainable hub for generations to come. But don’t take it from us, read it from them.

Testimonials

"I attended my first face-to-face networking event after COVID19 lockdown and chose a Penrith Valley Chamber of Commerce after 5 event.  I joined the next day. The Committee and members are very welcoming and I have attended many of their events which are always interesting and great for networking. I have joined the new Penrith Valley Chamber Collective Group and am enjoying the benefits of the support of fellow members and the Chamber. If you’re considering joining a business chamber Penrith Valley Chamber of Commerce is a great choice."

- Susan Bennett, Total WHS

“Hix Group are proud to have been members of the Penrith Valley Chamber for more than 15 years and long term Platinum Members, as we not only want to “give back” to our community by supporting other businesses but also to “stay in the loop” with what is going on within our ever changing and growing region.”

- Lea Hicks, Hix Group, General Manager

"I joined the chamber to build connections, increase exposure and look for unique and worthwhile opportunities with local businesses that are part of my community… The Penrith Valley Chamber has more than ticked that box."

- Justin Melton, Chill IT

"I joined the Chamber to build connections with other local business owners. I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed the Chamber’s networking events and like how they’re held at different locations around Penrith. I continue to be an active member of the Chamber as they’re committed to promoting and supporting local businesses in the area."

- Rachel Amies, Crazy Cat Copy

"I joined PVCC to help promote my business in the local area and to make connections within my local community.  I have received amazing support from the chamber and its members and have formed great friendships along the way."

- Veronica Neal, The Gifting Emporium

"We joined to get to know the people 'behind the Penrith business community' and to build a solid, trusted and local business network.  We received a very warm welcome and found a generous spirit among the committee and members.  We upgraded to Gold members because we valued the connections we've made and the expertise of the committee in the programs they're running way."

Lights On Penrith Summit

If you’re looking to grow your business, Penrith is the place to be. Our city is experiencing enormous growth and development as it moves into a stage of supporting and servicing one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions – the Western Parkland City – which will house the Western Sydney Airport.

With so much investment planned for the Penrith/Nepean region in the near future, how can your local business identify and leverage the opportunities presented for growth now?

Attend our Lights On Penrith summits.

Fun fact
Penrith has always been at the forefront of innovation; on October 3, 1890, we became the first city in the Sydney region to use electricity. A public holiday was declared as thousands of people lined the streets to witness the momentous occasion as the then Mayoress ‘flicked the switch’ and turned the lights on in Penrith.
