Peachtree Inn

The Peachtree Inn Hotel was built on the existing site in Peachtree Road, Penrith in 1980. It was a meeting place for a number of clubs with facilities including a bistro, TAB and a lot of individual clubs.

In 2002, Colin Parras took over the Peachtree Inn Hotel and embarked on a major upgrade program designed by Australian interior designer Paul Kelly.

Mamre Plains Ltd

Historic Mamre Homestead, built c1820's was the home of colonial chaplain, magistrate and pastoralist, the Reverend Samuel Marsden. Located on over 1,000 acres it was the working farmhouse of a busy model farm. Mamre was also home to the famous Merino flocks which made Marsden a pioneer in the Australian wool industry.

Mamre is now owned by Planning NSW and leased to the Sisters of Mercy. The property and homestead are on the NSW Heritage List.

Nepean Art Society

The Nepean Art Society was officially formed in 1967 by a small group of dedicated people. The enthusiasm of the current members continues.

Our aim is to provide a friendly environment where local artists can meet to learn, practice and exhibit their work.

The Society offers a variety of teachers and demonstrations and several exhibitions are held each year to showcase and sell the members’ work.

The Society has over 150 members and welcomes new members.
