This organisation was established in 1980 under the name of the "Nepean Social Club". t was incorporated as NADO Inc. in 1992. NADO Inc is the auspicing body for several projects which currently cater for over 300 people with disabilities and their families. These are: Nepean Social Club Specialist Disability Information Library Post School Programs providing Older Parent Carer Flexible Day Options, Community Participation & Post-School Options Programs
Flexible Respite Service
The organisation is overseen by a voluntary management committee, elected by the members of NADO at each year's Annual General Meeting, who agree to support and supervise the operations and direction of the organisation. The Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care assists with funding several of our projects. A General Manager is employed to manage and direct the organisation and its projects.
